Editor’s Note.

Another year is coming to an end and we only have our November meeting and the December Coffee Morning ahead although we are participating in the Christmas Tree Festival in St. Wystan’s Church from

Friday 7th until Monday 10th December when about 50 trees decorated by local groups will be on display. Glenys Shakespeare will be organising our contribution. As you know our November meeting on 20th is a talk by Nick Roe about the history of a major local landmark, Burton Flour Mill.

The Committee would like to take this opportunity to extend Season’s Greetings to all our members and friends.

Our 2008 Programme is almost completely organised and it is listed overleaf. We trust you will all find it to be a varied and interesting selection of talks and activities.
